Certified Commitment to Sustainability

FSC-COC Certification ensures that forests are managed responsibly, preserving biodiversity and supporting local communities and workers. The FSC Chain of Custody tracks certified materials throughout the supply chain, guaranteeing that products labeled FSC are sourced from sustainable forests, promoting both environmental and social responsibility.

The Million Tree Project

KDDL, with its associate companies and brands, have jointly pledged to work with responsible agencies to plant and nurture one million trees in denuded areas of India over the next 10 years. In the first phase we worked with ISHA Foundation and this year we have associated with two more organisations SayTrees & SankalpTaru. More than 150,000 saplings were already planted and are under careful nurture. We make our contribution in the name of our business partners, our customers, and our staff – to whom we owe our success and immeasurable gratitude.

KDDL’s Saketri Project

KDDL’’s Saketri Project uplifts slum communities near Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh. With the support from Rotary Club, Seva Punjab, and Bhawan, the volunteers provide vital medical, education, and skill programs, empowering lives for a brighter future. They empower in-school slum children beyond school hours. Their offerings include computer training, stitching programs for girls/women, and fostering women empowerment.

Education is crucial in building a strong foundation for the socio-economic growth of any region, and its impact on developing human potential is undeniable. Recognizing this, KDDL Limited, through its partnership with YTTS, a registered NGO since 1986, has been actively supporting education and skill-building initiatives. These programs focus on providing after-school support to slum children, offering computer and stitching training for girls and women, and fostering women’s empowerment in the community.

KDDL has associated with an NGO namely, Catalysts for Social Action (CSA), that works towards creating and ensuring a brighter future for every child under institutional care.

KDDL contributes towards the Livelihood Program of CSA. It includes career awareness and orientation, career counselling, job-oriented skill training, higher education, skill development, computer literacy, and placement opportunities that ensure happy, healthy, and independent lives.
